ND Prairie Rose State Games set

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Amateur athletes are gathering in Bismarck-Mandan for the Prairie Rose State Games.

Opening ceremonies for North Dakota's annual Olympics-style multisport festival were set for Friday night at the Bismarck Community Bowl.

The 24th annual games over the weekend will feature competition in nearly 50 events.
