Red River Zoo offers discount for book donations
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - For today only, the Red River Zoo is giving visitors one dollar off admission fees if they bring along a book donation.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
It's the annual Book It to the Zoo drive today, and it lasts until the zoo closes at seven tonight. The donated books are given to the F-M Rape and Abuse Crisis Center.
People filled the donation box with a variety of children’s books, like old Dr. Seuss favorites. Kids were able to enjoy looking at the zoo's animals and being a part of story time, put on by the zoo employees.
