MANVEL, N.D. (AP) — Authorities are looking into the disappearance of a North Dakota man whose brother recently bailed out of jail.
The Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department says investigators don't know if the two matters are related or if foul play is involved in the disappearance of 59-year-old Donald Chisholm, a rural Manvel farmer.
Forty-five-year-old Rodney Chisholm, also of rural Manvel, was arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing more than $100,000 in farm equipment stolen in North Dakota and Minnesota. He bailed out of jail Saturday, then allegedly stole another brother's car and drove to Nebraska, where a state trooper arrested him on Sunday.
Donald Chisholm has not been heard from since June 25. Rodney Chisholm faces an Aug. 2 extradition hearing in Nebraska's York County.
