Green Cross, the Salvation Army, and the neighborhood counseling center held meetings to talk about the affects of traumatic events on the body and mind. The first was for adult, the second for teens.

A third meeting focused on how parents can help their kids cope with the storm's aftermath. One Wadena resident says she loses sleep thinking about all the work to be done.

“It is nice to finally see results and then you feel better going to bed at night knowing this is now taken care of.”

Wadena is cleaning up after an E-F-4 tornado ripped through town June 17th.
