WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A twice-convicted sex offender already serving North Dakota prison time for other crimes has pleaded guilty to not registering with county authorities.
Twenty-seven-year-old Keith Pray of Hankinson made the plea after a deal with the prosecutor. Officials say he'll face the minimum 90-day term and a year of probation.
Pray is serving a seven-year sentence at the Bismarck prison for an offense in Stutsman County.
Probation officer Heidi Arnhalt says Pray's misdeeds include criminal conspiracy, bail jumping and possessing drug paraphernalia.
His first sex-offense conviction came in 2000 for molesting a little boy over a two-year period. Pray's second conviction came in 2001 for having sex with two underage girls.
