Man arrested for trying to burglarize Moorhead Country Club

A man was arrested early today on suspicion of trying to burglarize the Moorhead Country Club. Murray Dean McKay, 49, was arrested after police responded to an alarm at 1:32 a.m. at the country club, 2101 River Drive N.

Murray Dean McKay, 49, was arrested after police responded to an alarm at 1:32 a.m. at the country club, 2101 River Drive N.

McKay is being charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. He entered the business by breaking a glass window, police said.

McKay, whose city of residence is unknown, also had an arrest warrant for burglary issued by the U.S. Marshals Service.
