Minn. contractor sues ND city for repairs
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Minnesota contractor is suing the North Dakota city of Hillsboro and an engineering firm over payment for street repairs made in 2007.
Central Specialties Inc., of Alexandria, Minn., filed a civil complaint in federal court against the city and the project engineer, Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services Inc. of Grand Forks.
The complaint says Central Specialties is owed more than $328,000 for seven separate projects, as well as interest on a bill the city was late in paying.
Hillsboro City Attorney John Juelson says he has not reviewed the complaint.
