They won 1st in criminal apprehension, 1st in the combined team score, second place overall, and for the second time they won Kojak memorial, a traveling award for criminal apprehension.

The Kojak Memorial has been awarded to a team outside the Twin Cities just 4-times and 3 have been in Clay County.

“It is rewarding to see something from hard work and training and stuff you get, but if it happens it happens. I’m more apt, to, it doesn't matter either way I guess.

This is the second time the Carey-Cudo team has won the Kojak award.
