Paulette duCharme manages Prairie Property and says she only received two letters from the couple who moved out of their home because of the mold. She says the company heard about the problem in January, and came to fix it.
DuCharme says she got a letter in May, then another one last week, telling her the couple would be moving out.
“And just to say hey, this is getting worse. I mean, just some kind of heads up, and to see it now, I'm like how did it get from here to here, and we were out of the loop.”
DuCharme says all of the homes in Century Estates will be tested for mold. Engineers are also working on figuring out how the moisture is getting in; so far no answer.
