14-year-old bicyclist dies of injuries

FARIBAULT, Minn. (AP) — A 14-year-old boy who was hit by a car while riding his bike near Faribault has died.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Blake Beske was biking on Highway 21 last Friday when he was struck by a Ford Escort.

Beske was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with head and internal injuries. The Hennepin County medical examiner says the teen died Saturday.
