Children kicked off the 28th annual YMCA Chase Race on 4th Avenue south tonight.
There was a 1-K, a 5-K, and a 10-K. The money raised will go to the Livestrong Fitness Cancer Survivor Program at the "Y." Runners say it's a way to stay in shape, train for other races, and help a good cause.
RUSNESS-PETERSEN: "I run daily anyway, marathon or no, so having somebody to motivate you and know that you're giving back while you're doing that is great."
The Livestrong Cancer Program is a free 12-week program.
