Woman's death investigated in Gilbert
GILBERT, Minn. (AP) — An autopsy has determined a Gilbert woman died of smoke inhalation, but the circumstances of her death remain under investigation.
GILBERT, Minn. (AP) — An autopsy has determined a Gilbert woman died of smoke inhalation, but the circumstances of her death remain under investigation.
Police Chief Mark Skelton says officers found 54-year-old Linda Gail Williams dead in her home Tuesday after getting a call to check on her welfare.
Williams lived alone. Toxicology reports are expected to take a couple of weeks.
The St. Louis County sheriff's office, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the state fire marshal are helping in the investigation.
