Change of plea hearing set for beet truck driver involved in fatal crash
Barney, ND (WDAY TV) - A Barney, North Dakota woman plans to admit her role in a crash that killed a Wahpeton teenager last fall. 53-year old Cathleen Dean has pleaded not guilty to negligent homicide. A change of plea hearing is planned for August.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Barney, ND (WDAY TV) - A Barney, North Dakota woman plans to admit her role in a crash that killed a Wahpeton teenager last fall.
53-year old Cathleen Dean has pleaded not guilty to negligent homicide. A change of plea hearing is planned for August.
Dean was driving a beet truck that ran a red light, killing 18-year old Antoinette Gjesdahl. She admits seeing the light change to yellow, but thought she could make it through the intersection.
Dean ended up slamming into Gjesdahl's car.
