Hankinson man hurt in motorcycle crash

HANKINSON, N.D. – A Hankinson man sustained injuries to his face when he lost control of his motorcycle in the rain late Saturday at the Hankinson exit on Interstate 29, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

HANKINSON, N.D. – A Hankinson man sustained injuries to his face when he lost control of his motorcycle in the rain late Saturday at the Hankinson exit on Interstate 29, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

Randy Roeder, 36, was exiting southbound I-29 at about 10:47 p.m. when he crashed his 2006 Victory motorcycle.

Roeder was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Healthcare Campus in Breckenridge, Minn. A hospital spokeswoman said Roeder did not want his condition released.

He wasn’t wearing a helmet, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The bike sustained about $2,000 in damage.

Hankinson Fire and Rescue also responded to the accident.
