STURGIS, S.D. (AP) - A Sturgis woman serving time in treatment and a halfway house for having a blood-alcohol level almost nine times the legal driving limit now faces jail time.

Meade County State's Attorney Jesse Sondreal says 45-year-old Marguerite Engle admitted in court to possessing or consuming alcohol and failing to follow her medication and treatment.

Engle was arrested last December when authorities said she was found passed out behind the wheel of a stolen delivery van along Interstate 90, with a blood alcohol level at 0.708. The legal limit in South Dakota is 0.08. Officials have said Engle's blood alcohol level likely is a record for the state.

She was later sentenced to 1½ years on two drunken-driving convictions.
