266 Fargo North students put on cap and gowns first at the Fargodome. The class had a National Presidential Scholar Award Winner, only two were handed out in the state this year. As a whole, the graduates met the Adequate Yearly Progress requirements under no child left behind which is a tough feat for large schools.

Three hours later, South students showed off the brown and gold gowns. A huge class too, 459 grads. The class had athletic success. Girl’s basketball got second in state and the boy’s baseball team won the conference.

Across town, Oak Grove said goodbye to 46 students. The class played a pivotal role in getting the school back to normal after the 2009 flood. More than half made the National Honor Society. As a class, it earned 1 point 6 million dollars in scholarships.
