We are learning new information into the investigation. One tip, WDAY 6 News has learned, came into to Fargo Police around 3 this afternoon. Someone reported seeing the man 31-year old Eric Gilford.

The murder happened in Villa Park, a Chicago suburb, Wednesday afternoon. The victim, Kristine Gilford, was stabbed several times, reportedly, at her boyfriend's home. She was five months pregnant.

Neighbors say her three year old daughter, covered in blood, told them she saw her mom get stabbed. The girl is now in the care of relatives. The victim is said to have identified her husband as her attacker. No weapon has been found.

This morning, police found Gilford's 2008 Dodge Charger, at this parking lot on Main Avenue and 8th Street North in downtown Fargo. Police searched dumpsters for any evidence.

The couple married in February. Illinois police say Eric Gilford is the sole person of interest. Charges against the active duty Navy Sailor could be murder and infanticide. Fargo Police are remaining tight lipped, declining our request for an interview tonight, to not jeopardize the case if Gilford is in our area.
