Communities get a chance to hear they will be affected by a diversion
(WDAY TV) – There was the 4th flood meeting tonight in Cass County.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
People from areas like Davenport, Casselton, and Mapleton are hearing how a diversion affects their communities.
Many of these people come to every meeting and say they learn something new every time. Tonight, some concerns from rural residents are about drainage, and if the diversion would back up water in small towns.
“Hopefully it is being designed not to impede any of the rural drainage, but I think that is still a concern.”
Another informational meeting will be at the Highway Department in West Fargo, this time for communities directly south of Fargo.
