LP-A district passes bond referendum

(WDAY TV) - The sixth time is the charm in Lake Park-Audubon. People in the school district passed a 21 million dollar bond referendum. 1538 people voted YES, 1018 voted no.
The 21-million dollar referendum will fund construction of a new high school and allow for renovations of the elementary. The Minnesota Department of education is awarding LP-A more than 19-million dollars in interest free bonding.
It will save the district more than 10-million dollars in interest.
