This morning, the 10 k started first, then the half marathon, and finally the full. The forecast called for warm temperatures and high winds. Instead to start the race, runners battled rain and cool weather.

"I love this, I love this weather. The rain, the cool, it's nice. I like it when my hands are cold at the start of a race."

"Seems like you can conserve your energy a bit more it doesn't seem as bad the heat really drains the runner."

The full marathon had more than 24 hundred participants. That's up about nine hundred.
