Board interviews NDSU finalists
FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Final interviews have begun for the president's job at North Dakota State University. The state Board of Higher Education has narrowed the field to three. They are Dean Bresciani (bruh-SHAW'-nee), a former vice president at Texas A&M; John Gardner, a vice president at Washington State; and Gary Miller, provost and vice president at Wichita State.

The state Board of Higher Education has narrowed the field to three. They are Dean Bresciani (bruh-SHAW'-nee), a former vice president at Texas A&M; John Gardner, a vice president at Washington State; and Gary Miller, provost and vice president at Wichita State.
The board is scheduled to announce the new president Monday afternoon. NDSU is searching for a successor to Joseph Chapman, who resigned late last year after criticism of spending at the school.
