Grand Forks to host meeting on national debt
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The city of Grand Forks has been selected as one of 18 sites for town hall meetings on the national debt.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The city of Grand Forks has been selected as one of 18 sites for town hall meetings on the national debt.
Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit America Speaks will hold the meetings on June 26 to gather public input on policy proposals.
The Grand Forks meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Skalicky Incubator. To participate, visit www.usabudgetdiscussion.com.
The nonpartisan America Speaks gathers public input that's used to craft policy proposals sent to the nation's lawmakers.
