Brian Davidson is a hockey lifer having spent the last six years as an assistant at South and he knows the challenges that are in front of him this season. And while his team will not have a single senior on it next year, it doesn't mean they haven't won.

“They've had some success. We've had some guys play varsity hockey, some guys play lots of JV hockey. Coach Hakstol said you're only a freshman till halfway thru the season. I think we're going to take some lumps. Guys will grow and be competitive hockey players at the end of the season.

Davidson says they are still filling out the Davies schedule for next year. The Eagles will play their games at the UP Center.
