PARK RIVER, N.D. (AP) - Human bones unearthed on a farm near Park River are believed to be those of a person who died decades ago.
Walsh County Sheriff Lauren Wild says the bones were found Monday when a bulldozer operator was moving a rock pile atop a small knoll.
Wild says the bones appear to be from a single person. He says they will be sent to the state medical examiner in Bismarck for analysis. State Historical Society officials also plan to visit the site.
