In order to reach its goal, the group met up with leaders from area libraries. The group brain stormed ideas of the best way to get the campaign up and running in North Dakota.
There are many child soldiers in Liberia, and leaders of the group here say they want to put books, instead of guns into their hands. They say a library will be the perfect opportunity to promote education instead of violence.
“We can use books to make the nation better, but guns, knives and bullets, have caused our country to actually be in the condition we find it today.”
Florida, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Louisiana and California are also helping in the group's efforts.
