Three Grand Forks people have been arrested in connection with the assault and robbery of two men early this morning, police said.
According to a Grand Forks Police news release, police received a report of an assault in progress on the 100 block of North Washington Street at 2:23 a.m.
Officers determined a robbery had occurred and a male victim had been assaulted and knocked out for a brief time. One person had been robbed of his wallet and cellular phone and another of his sweatshirt, police said.
Derek Metzger, 21, was arrested for robbery and an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with court orders.
Ann Marie McKay, 40, was arrested for robbery and possession of stolen property.
Craig Anderson, 21, was arrested for obstruction of a police official, resisting arrest, contact by bodily fluids, possession of drug paraphernalia and robbery.
One of the victims was treated and released from Altru Hospital with minor injuries. Neither of the victims' identities or ages have been released by police.
All property that had been stolen was recovered by officers on the scene.
