Wyoming man dies in ND oil patch

PARSHALL, N.D. (AP) — Mountrail County authorities say a worker was killed at an oil rig site about 10 miles west of Parshall, in western North Dakota's oil patch.

Sheriff Ken Halvorson says 33-year-old Timothy Beavers, from Jackson, Wyo., was helping move a drilling rig Wednesday afternoon when he became pinned between a truck and a forklift attachment on a payloader, and was crushed to death.

Beavers had been working for Chapman Trucking Co. for less than a week.
