Longtime civilian Guard employee retiring
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A civilian employee who worked for the North Dakota National Guard under seven adjutant generals is retiring.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A civilian employee who worked for the North Dakota National Guard under seven adjutant generals is retiring.
A ceremony was planned Thursday in Bismarck for Thelma Stanley, whose career spanned more than 54 years.
The Guard says Stanley began her career in September 1955 as a state employee working as a switchboard operator.
