3 NDSU president finalists chosenFARGO, N.D. (AP) — The committee heading the search for a new North Dakota State University president on Thursday chose three finalists.
They are Gary Miller, provost and vice president at Wichita State; Dean Bresciani (bruh-SHAW'-nee), a former vice president at Texas A&M; and John Gardner, a vice president at Washington State.
Shippensburg University President William Ruud (ROOD) was eliminated from consideration.
The finalists' names will be forwarded to the state Board of Higher Education, which meets on May 24.
NDSU is searching for a successor to Joseph Chapman, who resigned late last year after criticism of his spending.
