Sheriff: Missing man found in James River drowned
KENSAL, N.D. (AP) — The Foster County sheriff has ruled the death of a missing Kensal man found in the James River an accident.
The sheriff's office says preliminary autopsy results show 26-year-old Joshua Blahna drowned.
Blahna's body was found Monday morning more than a mile south of where he is believed to have entered the river. He had been missing since April 25.
State and local authorities had been searching the area after Blahna's car was found near his mother's house about 10 miles northwest of Kensal and one of his shoes was found by the river.
