Now the Fargo Force has to go back into enemy territory to win the Clark Cup.
The Force led 3-2 with just 49 seconds left in the 3rd period in game 3 until the Gamblers tied the game. Green Bay went on to win game 3 in triple overtime, and take game 4, setting up a fifth and deciding game for the championship. The team was back at practice today, ready to forget the weekend.
“I was telling the guys, I had the same feeling little bit different, Brett Favre had the ball against New Orleans in the last little bit of the game. Our guys will be in the right frame of mind and we'll be excited to play again.”
Coming to the rink today, I wish I was at home enjoying Friday night's memories, but it didn't happen that way. One thing we have going towards us, home team hasn't won yet.”
Game five is Wednesday night. The team scoring first is 3-1 in the series.
