Grand opening held for Fargo's Cooper House

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's a chance for stability in the lives of some of Fargo's homeless. After three years of work, the grand opening was today for the Cooper House.

The goal of the home is to fix the homelessness problem in the city, giving residents a permanent address. Residents say having a roof over their heads will give them the opportunity to make the most of their future.

“They're pretty special people, so I'd like to thank every one of them that made it possible.”

The four story apartment complex has 42 units inside, all furnished with furniture, towels, and more.
