NDSCS students get a feel for how difficult it is to drive drunk
Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSCS students braved the wind and the cold to get an intoxicating experience today.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
During the annual Agawasie Day, students were able to try on six different types of Intoxo goggles which represented six intoxication levels.
They drove R-C cars around a track to get a feel how difficult driving and concentrating is when you have had too much to drink.
“To experience, so you know. The more experience you get to see how actually it is, and see how bad it actually is, you just don't want to try it.”
In North Dakota 50-percent of traffic deaths involved a drunk driver.
