Fargo South teacher named the Teacher of the Year
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A big honor for a Fargo South High School teacher this morning. Social Studies teacher Kathy Fisher is the Fargo Public School District's teacher of the year.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Fisher has taught in the district for 22 years. She found out about the award during a special presentation this morning.
"I really, really want this to be about how honestly wonderful these people are and how they do all that applauding to make me feel like I've done something, but really they're doing it every day and I'm just one of them."
Fisher will be a nominee for the state "teacher of the year" award next fall.
