Chernel Magaga, Gregory Reid, Jr., Sheiku Deen and Clarence Taye each face a Class C felony charge. The judge set bail at $3,000 or 10 percent cash for all of them and appointed them all public defenders.

All four are charged in connection with what authorities have said was a series of thefts of about $150,000 in goods from Best Buy, including several college athletes.

Police say they were organized by two security guards at the store. Of the 11 new defendants charged in the case last week, all but three of them have appeared in court. There are warrants out for the arrest of two of them.
