UPDATED: Man found dead outside his vehicle in Richland County identified as Fargo man

WYNDMERE, N.D. – The Richland County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a 45-year-old man who was found dead outside his vehicle early Wednesday about 13 miles northwest of Wyndmere.

The man was identified as James Parrow of Fargo.

There were no apparent signs as to the cause of death, and Parrow’s body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department, a motorist called authorities at about 7 a.m. upon seeing a man lying in front of his parked car on eastbound Highway 27, about 5 miles west of Highway 18.

A sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene and pronounced the man dead.
