Iowa student makes prom dress out of gum wrappers
(WDAY TV) - How many gum wrappers does it take to make a prom dress? Iowa high school Junior Elizabeth Rasmuson doesn't know.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
She says she stopped counting after about 200. She made a dress for herself and a vest for her boyfriend for the upcoming prom in Garner, Iowa.
Rasmuson says she heard about somebody making a dress out of duct tape. She thought it would be cool to use gum wrappers. She and her friends started collecting wrappers in August for a dress.
