Police discover several meth labs while responding to a domestic disturbance

Northwood, ND (WDAY TV) - Police officers called to a domestic disturbance in rural Northwood found more than just a domestic situation, they discovered several meth labs.

Northwood, ND (WDAY TV) - Police officers called to a domestic disturbance in rural Northwood found more than just a domestic situation, they discovered several meth labs.

Officers responded to a call Wednesday night and were confronted by 52-year-old Donald Moore. Moore was holding a 12-inch knife, refusing to let his wife out of the home.

When he wouldn't drop the knife, the officers tazed him. Inside the home, officers found materials for making methamphetamine. They also found several meth labs on the property that's about 4 miles east of Northwood.

Moore is facing charges of meth production, possession of drug paraphernalia, terrorizing and felonious restraint. Bail is set at $17-thousand-500 dollars.
