West Fargo Superintendent candidates narrowed down to 4

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - They are down to the Final 4 for the superintendent's job in West Fargo.

For the first round, the school board tonight chose:

Louise Dardis, the Assistant Superintendent at West Fargo, former Fargo superintendent David Flowers, now superintendent in Hutchinson, Kansas. Allen Burgad, Superintendent at Northern Cass and Tamera Uselman, Superintendent in Perham.

Board members are looking for someone who either has, or is close to getting a doctorate degree. They also want to find someone with new ideas and someone who is familiar with the region.

“Knowing about the community of West Fargo. Not such, coming from a big district, or a small district, for any means, but you know understanding who we are here.”

Gentzkow hopes to interview the four candidates within the new two weeks. Candidates who make it to second interviews will also go through interviews conducted by students, parents and staff.
