MN Court of Appeals to hear contempt of court charges against Frazee woman

Frazee, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A three-judge panel of the Minnesota Court of Appeals will hear the case of a Frazee woman accused of running from the law.

63-year old Virginia Briard faces six felony contempt of court charges for going on the run to avoid testifying against her husband, Robert.

He has since been acquitted of sexually abusing young girls. A district judge asked for the ruling on whether subpoenas were properly served.

The case will be heard April 22nd. The Briards own a well-known hog farm.
