Rare eruption in Iceland
(WDAY TV) - A spectacular sight in Iceland, a rare eruption of a volcano.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The volcano has been dormant for 200-years, before erupting March 21st.
450-people have been evacuated, as a precaution. Scientists are concerned the seismic activity could trigger a bigger eruption from a nearby volcano, or melt the glacier, creating flooding.
There hasn't been an eruption near this glacier since 1821.
