Gardner shop reports large copper theft

GARDNER, N.D. (AP) - The Cass County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent large copper theft

Authorities say a shop in the small town of Gardner reported that about 650 pounds of scrap copper and copper wire disappeared in the past two weeks.

At current recycling prices, the copper is worth about $2,000.
