Fargo police arrest suspect in Best Buy internal theft case

FARGO – Police say a 19-year-old man was arrested Tuesday as part of an ongoing theft investigation involving high-value electronics and other merchandise allegedly stolen from Best Buy in Fargo.

FARGO – Police say a 19-year-old man was arrested Tuesday as part of an ongoing theft investigation involving high-value electronics and other merchandise allegedly stolen from Best Buy in Fargo.

Adetimisola “Timi” I. Ogundipe of Fargo, a former Best Buy employee, was arrested at the Fargo Police Department on suspicion of felony theft in excess of $10,000 and felony criminal conspiracy, according to Sgt. Joe Anderson.

Both charges are Class B felonies carrying a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The case remains under investigation and additional arrests are possible, Anderson said in a news release. No further details of the investigation are being released at this time.
