About 30 pre-school children from NDSU's Center For Child Development headed up to Hornbacher's to do their part in the flood fight.
Its part of the center's annual Caring and Sharing Project, and the kids and parents decided to donate their time and money to the flood effort. The students raised almost 180-dollars to buy sandwich supplies for the Salvation Army.
“A number of these children are affected by the flood and their homes and their roads are being washed out so this is one way that they are doing something to help.”
The kids were able to buy about one hundred seventy loafs of bread with the money and helped pass them out to flood relief volunteers.
