Even as president Obama plans to sign legislation tomorrow that would extend coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans, Republicans are searching for ways to roll it back.
Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar says there will be some immediate benefits of the bill, but some goals may take a few years to work out.
She says the Senate's goal now is to fix the bill, to make sure taxes don't hit the middle class.
“This is not a perfect bill. There are going to have to be changes as we go along, and that's what I plan to do, especially when you represent Minnesota which has always been a medical Mecca and ha always done such a good job in providing quality care. We want to keep that care with affordable rates, and so this bill will not be the end of it.”
