The city's mayor says they've only placed about 100 of the 23-hundred sandbags they filled.

She says they are dealing with overland flooding from the Sheyenne, but the mayor says for the most part, this flood is just an inconvenience.

“Just leading their lives, and that's the way we wanted it this year, to let people go on with their lives and not have to worry about it, and it hasn't been very stressful this time around.”

National Guard troops have been in Georgetown for a few days walking the dike and checking on problems.
