Oakport water restriction is slightly lifted

Oakport Township, Minn. (WDAY TV) - The water restriction in Oakport is being lifted slightly, but people are still being told to limit their use. The sewer system is working.
Plugs have been installed on the east and west sides of the coulee to keep water out. Crews are pumping water down on Broadway and Wall Streets to manage some infiltration.
Homeowners are asked to use half the water they usually do and plug their sewers in case of a failure.
