Moorhead man arrested for stealing from open houses
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Police are calling a Moorhead man's crimes, "opportunistic."By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
40-year old David Donley was arrested for Felony Theft. Police say Donley went into homes as realtors were holding "open houses."
He was then grabbing items from the home when nobody was around. Police say this is a good wake up call for real estate agents.
“People are welcomed into a house, encouraged by realtors to come into an open house and by the person wanting to sell it, and here this person chose to actually steal from them.”
Police want others who've held open houses to come forward if anything went missing.
