GF smoking ban might extend to bars

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Grand Forks is a step closer to ending a smoking ban exemption for bars, casinos and truck stops.

The City Council has given initial approval and is to vote on final approval April 5.

The ban would take effect Nov. 1 if it is passed.
