CNN analyst Begala to speak at ND Dem convention
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A CNN analyst and top adviser to former President Bill Clinton will be a featured speaker at the North Dakota Democratic convention.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A CNN analyst and top adviser to former President Bill Clinton will be a featured speaker at the North Dakota Democratic convention.
Paul Begala will give the convention's keynote speech on March 27. The convention is being held at the Fargo Civic Center March 26-27.
Begala is a Democratic strategist, author and political contributor to CNN. He was one of Clinton's key advisers when he was elected president in 1992.
North Dakota Democratic chairman Mark Schneider says Begala "speaks eloquently to the causes that we as Democrats believe in."
North Dakota Republicans are holding their convention this weekend in Grand Forks. Their featured speakers are South Dakota Sen. John Thune and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
